restore open spaces across the Commonwealth.
The Flora of Virginia and the Flora App are necessary resources for protecting and restoring the Commonwealth’s diverse ecosystems. The work needed to ensure our data is safe, current, and accurate, provide new resources, and educational opportunities are funded almost entirely by individual donors.
Your gift will help us:
- Complete our evolutionary data migration project — moving all of our data from a 630,000+ cell spreadsheet to a custom database on the Flora of the Southeastern US (FSUS) botanical platform.
- Spread the word across the Commonwealth on the importance of native plants to the conservation and restoration of our incredible open spaces.
- Keep the App evolving with the most current botanical information available and new features and functionality.
